Daniel Smolensky, SIOR is a Founder and Principal of Taurus Modal Group (taurusmodal.com) a firm focused on representing office and industrial tenants and buyers. Dan has completed transactions in excess of $500 million. Before opening his own firm Dan’s prior experience included being a market leader and dominant broker at CBRE. That led to a position with First Industrial Realty Trust one the world’s largest owners/developers of industrial properties where Dan was charged with identifying buildings to purchase and executing transactions to feed the company’s $9 Billion of REIT and pension fund capital. Dan has worked on real estate opportunities in nearly every major market in the US, Canada and Europe. Dan is currently President of the Chicago Chapter of SIOR. Dan lives near Wrigley Field in Chicago, he is very active with his synagogue Emanuel Congregation, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, boating, golfing, biking, taking road trips and the rooting for Chicago sports teams.
