Mike Dopler

Mr. Dopler is a Director in AEW’s Direct Investment Group. Working out of AEW’s Boston office, Mr. Dopler is an acquisitions specialist responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing new acquisition and development opportunities in Texas and the Washington, D.C. MSA. Mr. Dopler has over thirteen years of real estate experience primarily focused on acquisitions and development. During his tenure at AEW, Mr. Dopler has completed over $4.0 billion of transactions in a wide variety of deal structures including direct real estate acquisitions, ground-up developments, joint venture partnerships, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments. Mr. Dopler joined AEW in 2006 from The Bascom Group, where he focused on value-added multifamily acquisitions in California, Colorado, Texas, and Georgia. Mr. Dopler earned a B.A. in Business Administration at California State University, Fullerton.
