Gregg Weisser is the Executive Managing Director of Commercial Leasing at the Moinian Group; who today owns and operates over 10 million sf of residential, commercial, retail and hotel assets valued at over $10 billion across the country. Over the past 7 years, Gregg has performed over 350 leases valued at $437 Million in Gross income.
In the past, Gregg worked to optimize a portfolio of owned and leased properties for JP Morgan Chase Bank as a Vice President and Real Estate Director. His responsibilities included reflecting the changing needs of the business units and aligning the portfolio as a strategic asset. Initiatives of Mr. Weisser enhanced the company’s competitiveness and profitability by creating real estate-related business strategies through to implementation in support of the owner objectives. He managed a team of transaction managers, conducted benchmarking and best practice, and performance metrics exercises and worked with business leaders to create superior solutions. He sold over $1.5 billion in real estate, acquired over 1.7 million square feet of space across the Americas, lowered and saved JPMC over $600 million in one-time benefits and over $39 million in ongoing run-rate reductions.
Gregg has earned his Masters’ in Corporate Real Estate (MCR) from the Institute for Real Estate Studies from Corenet Global, an association for real estate professionals. He has taught real estate courses @ NYU and has spoken nationally at conferences about real estate and affiliated topics. He was a Board of Directors member and the New York Chapter president of IDRC/Corenet for 2 years.
