Asia Abreu Bribiesca-Hedin is a member of the leadership team at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Organization Transformation department. This department oversees the planning and execution of City of Hope’s strategic initiatives. Current priorities include the expansion of the existing 110 acre campus in Duarte, California and the development of a new $1 billion comprehensive cancer campus in Irvine, CA that will bring highly specialized cancer care, clinical trials, precision medicine and early detection to the community.
In her 8 years at City of Hope Asia has helped execute on organizational priorities ranging from launching new fundraising programs for the Office of Philanthropy, new technology platforms for Marketing & Communications, and precision medicine clinical service line expansions for the medical center.
Asia started her career as a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young, consulting for a broad range of clients seeking operational performance improvement, including Disney, Nissan, Farmer’s Insurance, Dreamworks Animation, and Catholic Healthcare (Dignity).
Asia earned her bachelor’s degree in business management at Pepperdine University and her MBA and MPA degrees from the University of Southern California. Asia also earned a PMP designation, is a licensed California Real Estate broker, and more recently earned a graduate certificate in Real Estate Development from the USC Lusk School of Real Estate.
