Mark Silverstein is a Managing Director in Pacific Western Bank’s Real Estate Group where he focuses on origination, syndication and distribution of commercial real estate loans. Pacific Western Bank is a California based financial institution that is a national balance sheet lender. Mr. Silverstein has been with Pacific Western Bank for over 8 years and has helped grow originations and distribution to include large private equity funds as well as partnering with a host of mezz and debt funds. With over 20 years as a commercial real estate professional, Mr. Silverstein has a vast array of experience ranging from first mortgage lending to large Public to Private OpCo-PropCo structured transactions. Prior to PacWest, he was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s commercial real estate group for over 13 years focusing on securitization, origination as well as syndication. Prior to that Mr. Silverstein was an Assistant Vice President at Nomura Securities in their CMBS group. Mr. Silverstein began his commercial real estate career in Los Angeles working at Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Silverstein holds a dual BS/MBA degree from Boston University.
