Charlie Stephens joined Cushman & Wakefield Inc. in January of 2010 in the Midtown Manhattan office. Mr. Stephens has advised or represented, both Tenants and Landlords, in transactions totaling over one million square feet within Manhattan. His practice focuses on cultivating strong authentic relationships by collaborating with innovative business founders & venture capital funds across the Tri-State region.
Notable clients that include Unilever, Ernst & Young, Conde Nast, ING Financial, Raymond James Financial, Penn Mutual Life Insurance, Hawkeye Capital and K. Hovnanian Homes, LLC. Mr. Stephens has also sourced business from Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm located at 9 West 57th Street. Together with Cushman & Wakefield’s Investment Banking Group, structured a Sale/Leaseback of Talbots’ 919,000 square feet distribution center in Lakeville, Massachusetts and the 313,000 square feet Headquarters in Hingham, Massachusetts.
Charlie currently hosts one of the first LinkedIn Live shows called ‘LeadersLive’. He has interviewed over 100 NYC founders & venture capital partners talking on business growth and networking. Past guests include founders of Venmo, Convene, USA Network, Vayner Media, Entrepreneur Magazine, Authentic Brands and Lerer Hippeau. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Stephens worked with Pyramid Real Estate’s Sales and Leasing team in Stamford, Connecticut. Mr. Stephens received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Ithaca College with a concentration in Marketing. He was a four year member of the Ithaca College football team and 2006 Football Gazette All-American. Mr. Stephens is an active volunteer with the Wall Street Decathlon, a fundraiser supporting pediatric cancer research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
