Named Principal of MVE + Partners in 2004, Darin Schoolmeester embraces the challenges of high-density urban infill, affordable residential, and mixed-use developments, leading teams on these assignments as well as luxury resort, transit-oriented development, and senior housing projects. He is constantly pushing the design envelope and also leads the firm’s research and development efforts with the goals of establishing new concepts that provide developers with high-density, affordable design solutions. Darin’s philosophy of “tailored execution” in architectural design assures that each project responds to both constraints and opportunities in a way that most benefits the client and the community.
Darin has had the opportunity to share his multifamily expertise as a speaker and panelist for a variety of recent programs including the M&M/IPA Bay Area Multifamily Forum, Multifamily Executive Conference, and Bisnow Silicon Valley Construction & Development Conference, among others. He is a passionate supporter of many community organizations including Ronald McDonald House Charities, Homes for Hope, Encompass World Partners, and Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC), and has been Chair of the Building Committee at Grace Church of Orange.
