Kathy Suto has over three decades of experience in the retail industry, leading A+ level stores for the last 20 years. She recently completed a $50M total store renovation for Bloomingdale’s west coast flagship in Westfield Century City. The store ranks #3 in the Bloomingdale’s organization, with sales in excess of $100M.
Prior to Bloomingdale’s, Kathy spent fourteen years as a VP, Gen manager with Neiman Marcus in Chicago, Houston, and Dallas. Her experience also includes Flagship Director and Director of Stores for Tootsies Houston, and Regional Director with Joan & David Shoes.
She’s served on the board of directors for the Downtown Women’s Center (2010 – 2017) beginning her DWC involvement as a volunteer. She lent her experience to the development and retail expansion of DWC’s social enterprise, ‘MADE by DWC’. She served as the Co-Chair of the annual gala in 2014 and 2015 and is a member of the Partner’s Circle. Kathy received the 2012 Woman of Achievement Award from the Century City Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized as a 2014 “Woman of the Year” by the LA County Board of Supervisors. She received the inaugural Women’s Empowerment Award from the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) in 2017, and now serves as chairman of the WLN’s Executive Council.
Kathy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Penn State University and is a graduate of the Kellogg Management Institute at Northwestern University.
