Andy Poticha, Principal at Cannabis Facility Construction, a division of Mosaic Construction, has 30 years of design, sales and construction management expertise. From an early age, Andy knew he wanted to become an architect, and he would create the vehicle for that passion through the high-end residential and boutique commercial design/build firm Design Construction Concepts (DCC). In 2015, one of Andy’s most loyal clients was awarded three medicinal cannabis dispensary licenses in Illinois and approached him to design and build the client experience. After completing those initial projects successfully, the Cannabis Facility Construction (CFC) brand was created and has become a national, industry leading design-build company with over thirty projects in eight states totaling more than 300,000 sq ft. Andy and CFC understand the unique challenges facing cannabis business owners and investors. In addition to meeting compliance, regulatory, and operational standards, they know that cultivation and processing centers need to provide the ideal conditions for their yields as well as productive working environments for staff. In addition, CFC recognizes that dispensaries must create the optimal retail experience that is client centric while working within operational constraints as well as finishing on time and within budget.
