As President of the Southwest Region, U.S. for Colliers International, David is responsible for the strategic direction and performance for offices in Southern California, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Arizona, and the islands of Hawaii. Based in Los Angeles, David is focused on advancing Colliers’ growth objectives in the Southwest region, while ensuring the firm continues to provide best-in-class solutions to our clients. With over two decades of commercial real estate experience, he brings a broad range of expertise to his leadership role. David has devoted his career to being a servant leader, focused on retaining and recruiting the industry’s top talent.
David has served in leadership roles across multiple business lines, including brokerage, property management, project management, debt and structured finance, investment sales and valuation, and understands the value and importance of cultivating and sustaining a first-class culture for his professionals, which allows his team to provide their clients with best-in-class service.
Prior to Colliers David spent over 10 years with CBRE, serving in several executive leadership roles. Most recently as managing director for the North Los Angeles region, which included over 200 professionals and oversight of all lines of business. He also directed CBRE’s Southern California Investor Services business, focused on aligning all service lines for their top institutional clients to maximize service outcomes.
David started his career with Westfield Corporation where he worked in leasing, development, and operations of their flagship US properties. He also held an executive leadership role in operations for regional developer Rick Caruso.
As a veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps., David is an advocate for assisting veterans in transitioning to the civilian and corporate worlds. As such, he serves on the board of Homes 4 Families, a non-profit organization that empowers low-income veterans and their families to build resiliency and self-sufficiency through full-equity home ownership and sustainable housing.
