David Friedman

President

David Friedman is President of Conor Commercial Real Estate, the development arm of The McShane Companies, where he serves on its Board of Directors and Investment Committee. Reporting to James A. McShane, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Friedman leads this national development company headquartered in Chicago with offices in Houston, Phoenix and Irvine. Prior to joining Conor Commercial, he was a Managing Director of the real estate group of Ares Management, a leading global alternative asset management company.

Mr. Friedman is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute – IOPC Green Flight, U.S. Green Building Council, Village of Glencoe Zoning Board and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Real Asset Workgroup which oversees investment manager selection.
