Alan Rubenstein

Senior Director, Regional Head of Asset Management, Portfolio Manager

Alan Rubenstein is a Senior Director and the Regional Head of Asset Management for NY Life Investors with responsibility for the oversight of the team managing a portfolio consisting of all asset types throughout the Eastern United States. As part of Alan’s asset management oversight in this region, he directly manages development activities there. In addition to these roles, Alan is the Portfolio Manager of the Madison Square Value Enhancement Fund, an $860 million closed-end fund focused on value add investment throughout the United States.

Alan has extensive experience in real estate investment management including direct responsibility for over 7 million square of office assets nationally during his 12-year tenure with Hines and for over 18 million square feet of office properties as National Head of Asset Management at Broadway Partners during his 6-year tenure. Over the course of his 31-year career, he has had responsible for leasing, operations, and capital investment and development activities of over 44 million square feet of office properties, over 10,000 multifamily units and over 10 million square feet of industrial space throughout the country.
