Since 1997, Amy has enjoyed a fruitful career in the commercial real estate industry, involved in both ground up development of master planned communities, enclosed regional shopping centers and established retail shopping centers. As Caton Commercial’s COO Amy oversees the day to day operations and growth of Caton. Prior to joining Caton she led the day to day operations and training and development of the LM Commercial Real Estate brokerage and development divisions. Hall has extensive experience in retail lease negotiations, strategic planning, sales training and development, staff architecture, performance management and optimization, ground up and repositioning development of retail assets, maximizing ancillary income revenue streams, budgeting and forecasting.
Professional development and continuing education are Ms. Hall’s passions. Since 2005 she has helped educate, mentor, coach and train hundreds of industry leasing and leadership professionals for her own organizations and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She is a shopping center industry thought leader; actively participating in ICSC since 2005; having served as co-chair to the first ICSC NOI+ Conference Program Planning Committee, serves on the curriculum advisory committee, instructs at both the University of Shopping Centers Wharton and USC Lusk School of Business, John T. Riordan Schools for Retail Real Estate Professionals in Scottsdale and Miami, participated in various panel discussions as both a moderator and panelist, facilitated sessions at SPREE, MOCIAL and RECon, hosted webinar sessions and was appointed an ICSC IL State Ambassador in 2016. Amy also enjoys mentoring new real estate professionals through both ICSC and The Goldie Initiative.
As an active member of the community and philanthropic supporter, she serves as an officer, and is the past president, of her women’s philanthropic educational organization – PEO Chapter MV Hinsdale, on the fundraising committee for the O’Brien School for the Maasai and served as a board of director for the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra. Amy sings with the Community Presbyterian chancel choir and is married with two step-daughters. Amy holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Development.
