Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
Ann Silverberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, oversees the Northern California real estate development division, BRIDGE Impact Capital (a Community Development Financial Institution), and is also responsible for capital aggregation, and equity and debt for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and non-LIHTC projects.
Ms. Silverberg joined BRIDGE in 1990 and assumed progressive responsibility in the areas of real estate development, portfolio management and finance. She has contributed to the development/redevelopment of 7,000 homes in affordable and mixed-income and mixed-use developments including the acquisition and redevelopment of nearly 1,000 units of public housing in San Francisco and Sacramento, the joint-venture development of 545 units of mixed-income housing with Essex in the Transbay area of San Francisco, and 306 units of mixed-income housing in Milpitas. In addition to her development work, Ms. Silverberg oversees the capital markets group where she has placed over $1 billion of debt and LIHTC equity for BRIDGE’s projects from San Diego to Seattle.
Ms. Silverberg serves on the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee of the National Affordable Housing Trust and the Board of Directors of the California Housing Consortium (CHC). She is a member of the Investment Committee for the Housing Partnership Equity Trust, and is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH). Ms. Silverberg holds a Political Science degree from UCLA and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley.
