Marc Berg

Vice President and
Regional Director, West Region

Marc Berg is Vice President, Regional Director, West Region. In this role, Mr. Berg works closely with the Regional Development Officer on implementing the company’s West Region’s development strategy, including finding new business opportunities, specifically industrial and office projects throughout Southern California. Mr. Berg also assists in market and financial analysis, land acquisition, entitlements, project management and marketing.

Prior to joining The Rockefeller Group, Mr. Berg was Director of Development and Acquisitions for Thrifty Oil Co., where he was responsible for growing the investment portfolio by more than 1,459,000 SF by developing big-box industrial properties. He also helped Thrifty acquire more than 519,000 SF of investment properties and seven sites totaling more than 100 acres of land. Mr. Berg has also worked for The RSH Group, a commercial real estate consulting firm, as Senior Vice President, where he developed, marketed and implemented integrated services for the firm. Mr. Berg previously worked for Investment Building Group as Vice President, where he developed or entitled fifteen industrial buildings in the Inland Empire and Orange County,CA.

He also worked with Mission Land, as Director, Property Development; and Cushman & Wakefield as a broker in the San Francisco and Ontario, CA offices.
Mr. Berg has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Arizona State University, an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Irvine, and attended the University College in Dublin, Ireland for graduate studies in International Management.
