Brian Parno serves as Chief Operating Officer for Stirling Development. Mr. Parno has more than 35 years of experience in real estate development, design, and construction. He leads Stirling’s executive team in the creation, development and implementation of strategic plans aimed at delivering on the Company’s mission.
As COO, Mr. Parno is responsible for Stirling’s overall day to day business activities, including marketing and promotion, sales and leasing activities, transaction coordination and all development and asset management, and financial management.
During his career Mr. Parno has been involved with a vast array of real estate projects and product types including: community and neighborhood retail, high rise and suburban office, hotels, industrial, warehouse & distribution, and high tech facilities.
Among other initiatives, Mr. Parno is currently leading Stirling’s development efforts at Southern California Logistics Centre (SCLC) in Victorville, Calif. SCLC is a 2,500-acre commercial and industrial complex entitled for 60 million square feet of development, and is a portion of Global Access, a master-planned 8,500-acre multimodal transportation hub known as the Southern California Logistics Airport, or SCLA. Phase I development is currently underway totaling 6.5 million square feet of industrial facilities on over 335 acres of land.
To date, as the High Desert’s most active developer, Stirling has delivered over $250 million of private investment to the High Desert and completed over 3 million square feet of projects. These projects currently enjoy less than 1% vacancy while providing workspace for over 750 permanent jobs in the region. Mr. Parno’s team at Stirling has provided space for numerous high profile companies such as Newell Rubbermaid, Dr. Pepper Snapple, Mars Chocolate, UFI Furniture, Plastipak, Sparkletts Water, Red Bull, Fastenal, and Embry Riddle, as well as a host of local businesses.
