Duncan McCuaig is Senior Vice President of the U.S. Office Division Leasing team at Brookfield Properties. Mr. McCuaig is responsible for the leasing of Brookfield’s New York City and Boston properties, which comprise 20 million square feet of Class A office space.
Duncan has led lease negotiations with some of Brookfield’s largest tenants, including Morgan Stanley (1.2M SF at One New York Plaza) and Societe Generale (600,000 SF at 245 Park Avenue). Duncan also played a significant role in the 660,000 square foot anchor lease with Skadden Arps as well as follow – on transactions with EY, Accenture the NHL and Mckool Smith to kick off Brookfield’s seven million square foot Manhattan West development. He has also overseen the redevelopment and re-letting of Brookfield’s 5 Manhattan West where approximately 1.4M square feet has been leased to new tenants such as JPMC, Amazon and RGA.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2006, Mr. McCuaig spent 10 years with Cushman & Wakefield as a landlord and tenant representative broker in New York City.
Mr. McCuaig has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker, a board member of the Grand Central Partnership and a member of The Real Estate Board of New York.
