Gardner Ellner joined the Los Angeles office of CBRE Global Investors in 2014 and is a Director of Acquisitions for the Managed Accounts Group. In this capacity, Mr. Ellner oversees the acquisition of institutional investments in the Western United States and is responsible for all facets of the investment process including sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, due diligence and closing real estate transactions.

Mr. Ellner has over 13 years of real estate experience and has overseen $1.5 billion of direct investments covering office, industrial, multifamily and retail properties. Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors’ Acquisitions team, he was an Acquisitions Manager for Equus Capital Partners (BPG Properties) in Los Angeles from 2006-2014 and prior to that held various acquisition roles with Unilev Capital and Starpoint Properties.

Mr. Ellner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Real Estate Finance) from University of Southern California. He is also a graduate of Groton School in Groton, Massachusetts.
