Eric Paulsen is the Managing Principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s Orange County and Inland Empire offices leading approximately 180 professionals throughout both markets. His responsibilities include supporting strategic business pursuits, nurturing and promoting our firm’s culture, and aligning resources to equip teams with the tools they need to maximize performance and productivity. Eric has overall responsibility for all Cushman & Wakefield service lines in Orange County and the Inland Empire, including revenue and profitability growth, as well as staff recruitment and retention and client relationships.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2017, Eric served in multiple roles with Ten-X Commercial (formerly Auction.com Commercial), a semi-startup entity focused on transacting third party, non-performing loan and commercial asset sales through a web-based auction platform. From 2016 to 2017, Eric was Executive Managing Director for Ten-X, where he led the company’s 65-member Business Development Team. From 2011 to 2015 he held the role of Co-Chief Executive Officer with Ten-X, playing a leading role in all initiatives to launch the venture, from mission statements to business plans and forecasting.
Prior to Ten-X, Eric was Vice President, Acquisitions & Dispositions for LNR Property Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing transactions, underwriting cash flows, performing due diligence, and closings. He began his commercial real estate career as a Vice President at CBRE focused on investment sales. Eric has closed nearly $10B in commercial real estate transactions over his three-decade career.
