Brian Flax

Managing Director

Brian Flax joined Meridian Capital Group in 2012 and currently serves as a Managing Director and head of the company’s corporate training program, which he designed in March, 2013. He is responsible for the training and management of a large team of brokers and oversees their origination, underwriting and placement efforts on a daily basis.

In his current capacity, Mr. Flax manages more than 30 brokers who are responsible for closing approximately $2 billion in loans on an annual basis with a universe of over 100 lenders. The team handles loans of all sizes, property types, and geographies.

Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Flax established a similar corporate training program as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations at Newtek Business Services, Inc.
