Frank Haffner

Founder and Chairman

Frank J. Haffner is the Founder and Chairman of Monarch Senior Living LLC and its various predecessor and affiliated entities since he founded his company in 1982. Mr. Haffner is considered one of the original pioneers in the US senior living market with over 36 years of experience in designing, operating, developing, marketing, financing, and owning approximately $1 billion dollars of senior living communities.

Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors in the senior housing industry, Mr. Haffner worked for the international accounting firm of KPMG. Mr. Haffner graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant in California. Mr. Haffner is an active spokesperson for the senior housing industry and has published numerous articles in various publications. He is a founding member and Director of the American Senior Housing Association, a founding member of the National Association of Senior Living Industries, and was a member of the Executive Council and frequent speaker at the National Investment Center and other industry and real estate conferences. Mr. Haffner has also served on various non profit and for profit boards of directors and as the Chairman of the NRCC Business Advisory Council.
