Heidi Smithson

Executive Vice President, Director – Commercial Real Estate Group

Heidi Smithson joined First Midwest Bank in 2008 and brings over 25 years of experience to the Bank. She is an Executive Vice President and the Director for the Commercial Real Estate team where she is responsible for managing a team in originating, structuring, closing and servicing commercial real estate loans. Her focus is on all investment property types, which include multi-family, office, industrial, retail and construction lending. Heidi received her BBA in Finance at the University of Iowa and MBA from DePaul University. She is on the Board of Directors for the North Suburban division of Junior Achievement and is a member of the Board and the Treasurer of the First Midwest Bank Charitable Foundation. Heidi is also a member of CREW Chicago.
