An accomplished investment manager with more than 24 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Lo offers clients a broad platform of products for apartments, industrial, office, retail, and hotels. His primary focus is to originate, structure, and negotiate debt and equity recapitalization, acquisition, construction, redevelopment, and bridge alternatives. His strength is to specifically customize debt originations, structured financings, and joint venture equity investment alternatives tailored to client and capital needs.
Mr. Lo has raised over $7 billion in debt and equity capital in addition to management of over $18 billion in separate and comingled funds. Most recently, he has arranged the debt and equity for the Google Campus in Kirkland, the 380-unit NEXUS Condominiums, the Westpark Portfolio in Redmond, and the 450-unit McKenzie Apartments in South Lake Union. Other notable
transactions include: Columbia Tower, Pacific Place, Four Seasons Olympic Hotel, Nordstrom Headquarters Tower, Civica Office Commons, Two Rodeo Drive, Chevron Corporate Headquarters, and Westside Pavillion among others.
Prior to joining CBRE, John managed the Pacific Northwest region for JLL’s debt and equity practice and was also a founding and lead partner in Bluewater Realty Capital, a regional mortgage banking firm. Prior to founding Bluewater, he was a construction lender as Vice President at the Wells Fargo Real Estate Group; as an investment banker at Eastdil Secured; and as an investment manager for Clarion Partners.
