Jonathan Schurgin is Chief Investment Officer for The Festival Companies. Jonathan oversees acquisitions and capital raising for both existing projects and new business ventures.

Jonathan brings over 20 years of experience to Festival Companies. Prior to joining The Festival Companies, Jonathan served as Head of Originations and Senior Managing Director at Cantor Commercial Real Estate, directly overseeing its four West Coast offices for nearly 10 years. He has experience in equity and loan originations across all property types. Starting at Credit Suisse and on to UBS, throughout his career, Jonathan has originated nearly $20B in commercial debt and equity transactions.

Jonathan has been a Festival Companies board member for 15 years, and now leads the firm’s investment strategy and growth. He joins Festival at a critical juncture for the retail space, seeing vast opportunity.
