Jonathan Shapiro

Senior Vice President

Jonathan Shapiro is currently a Senior Vice President at Revere Capital, with responsibility for sourcing, underwriting, and structuring real estate bridge loans. Jonathan has over 14 years’ experience in commercial real estate finance, investment, and portfolio management.

Formerly, Jonathan was a Director of Originations at Maxim Capital Group, a New York firm that provides short term real estate capital. He was previously a Vice President at NorthStar Realty Finance Corp., a publicly-traded commercial REIT. There he managed a highly diversified portfolio of performing and non-performing commercial real estate loans and equity investments of every major asset class. Prior to asset management, Mr. Shapiro specialized in net lease acquisitions for NorthStar. Mr. Shapiro started his career as a Commercial Mortgage Analyst at Prairie Realty Advisors, a Chicago based mortgage banking company.

Mr. Shapiro received a M.S. in Real Estate with a concentration in Real Estate Development from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate, and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
