Kenneth (“Ken”) Gorman is Chief Executive Officer of Power Wellness Management and Senior Vice President of Power Construction Company. Ken founded Power Wellness in 1996 to help healthcare systems and universities plan, develop and manage medical fitness centers. With 35+ managed centers nationwide and over 2,800 team members, Power Wellness is the largest management company serving the medical fitness industry. With over $1B in annual revenues, Power Construction Company is the largest general contractor and construction manager solely working in the Chicagoland market. During his 25 years with Power Construction Company, Ken was responsible for helping grow their healthcare and higher education portfolio and launching the Virtual Design and Construction Department.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Ken attended North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka and graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in finance and real estate development in 1985. Ken has been a member of Young Presidents Organization since 2010. Ken serves on the boards of Power Construction Company, Power Wellness Management, Gorman Family Holdings and WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger). Ken has served on numerous professional and charitable boards including: College of Dupage Foundation, Good Shepherd Hospital Development Council, Illinois Facilities Fund, Roosevelt School of Real Estate and Harper College Foundation.
Ken has been married for 30 years, has three children and lives in downtown Chicago. Ken enjoys golfing, skiing, and a good bottle of Chianti Classico.
