Ms. Tolliver is an experienced commercial real estate investment management professional who has acquired over 14 Million square feet and transacted over $4.7B in direct acquisitions and joint ventures over her career. She is currently a Senior Vice President with Heitman, LLC, a real estate investment management firm, where her focus is acquisitions and joint ventures in the western United States. She was previously a Strategic Advisor with UrbanAmerica Advisors, a private equity real estate investment firm. In her role at UrbanAmerica (UA), she was focused on: investor relations and capital raising calling on UA’s institutional investors, penetrating the foundations and endowment space, and sourcing deals in the western markets. Prior to joining UA in late 2010, Ms. Tolliver spent over seven years with MetLife Real Estate Investments. During her tenure with MetLife from 2002 to 2009, Ms. Tolliver rose to the level of Director, responsible for domestic and international business development. Ms. Tolliver managed acquisition activity, including new joint ventures for 8 domestic offices nationwide and was an integral part of the portfolio management team for the $10B equity portfolio. In her role focused on international, Ms. Tolliver was responsible for new equity investments and asset management in MetLife’s 4 international offices including: Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and China. Over the course of her last 5 years at MetLife, she and her team originated and managed 6 programmatic joint ventures that invested approximately $490M in equity, or approximately $2.5B in deal volume.

Ms. Tolliver’s background covers over 20 years of diverse real estate investment management. She started her commercial career with Lincoln Property Company in 1991 moving from there in 1997 to Spieker Properties, a national top five REIT prior to its acquisition by Equity Office Properties in 2001.

Ms Tolliver received her Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Finance from California State University at Fullerton. She completed executive education at Smith College in Massachusetts, and is a licensed real estate broker in California. (License #01387728)

Ms. Tolliver’s professional affiliations include: ULI, NAIOP and ICSC. She is also a founding board member of African American Real Estate Professionals, Los Angeles.
