Mr. Malamut serves as the Senior Vice President of Development at G.H. Palmer Associates and oversees the entitlement and development activities for the company. He has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate development, including mixed-use podium style multifamily, mid-rise, high-rise, urban infill, condominium, commercial (office, industrial and retail) and master-planned community housing.
Mr. Malamut recently secured the entitlements and is managing the development of the Paseos at Ontario project that will introduce 800 new apartment units, within a resort style setting, to the Inland Empire market. He also has been overseeing the development of Broadway Palace located at Olympic and Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles. Broadway Palace encompasses 649 ground-up apartments and over 58,000 square feet of retail space along with the adaptive-reuse conversion and renovation of the 1913-era building that includes 30 live-work lofts, restaurant space and the façade restoration that will restore the Broadway facing façade to its original appearance in the early twentieth century. Mr. Malamut is also directing the design and entitlements for over 2,500 apartments within several other large-scale mixed-use developments in the greater Los Angeles and Ventura areas for G.H. Palmer Associates.

Mr. Malamut graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business emphasizing in Real Estate Development from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a minor in Planning and Development from the School of Policy, Planning and Development. Mr. and Mrs. Malamut, along with their two daughters, reside in Los Angeles where they are active and participating members of the Angeleno community.
