John Mullen

Managing Director

John Mullen has been with Greysteel since its inception. He was part of the top performing multifamily sales team in the Mid-Atlantic office of a well known national commercial real estate firm before starting Greysteel with President, Ari Firoozabadi, and Managing Director, Kyle Tangney, where he managed the Institutional Sales and Capital Markets team. As Greysteel grew at an accelerated rate, John undertook the responsibility of opening and growing the West Coast operations in Los Angeles.

As Managing Director, Mr. Mullen focuses on sourcing and servicing large private capital and institutional multifamily transactions involving both sales and capital markets activities. Based in West LA, Mr. Mullen and his team service conventional multifamily properties throughout the Los Angeles Metro Area and surrounding counties, as well as affordable communities along the West Coast. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and National Affordable Housing Practice.

Mr. Mullen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Mr. Mullen is Greysteel’s licensed broker of record in CA.
