Mr. Pendergist is responsible for the leadership and oversight of all consumer and commercial banking functions within Luther Burbank Savings and its related entities. Mr. Pendergist has nearly 20 years of financial, strategic and sales management experience. He began his career as a business consultant before moving into banking and after spending more than a decade at JP Morgan Chase serving as Managing Director and Head of the Eastern Region, Mr. Pendergist joined Luther Burbank Savings in 2014.

In his current role as President – Consumer & Commercial Banking, Mr. Pendergist is focused on increasing deposits via new and existing channels, growing the commercial real estate business through product development and market expansion, while also furthering the bank’s promotion of the Luther Burbank Mortgage retail platform.
