Samir M. Patel

Principal

Samir M Patel is a Principal and Co-Founder of IRA Capital where he has invested in over $1.5 billion of transactions and helped raise over $750 million of equity. At IRA, he is primarily involved in sourcing of transactions, equity and debt for IRA’s various investment programs throughout the country. He has been active in private equity for the past 15 years.

His investment reach spans multiple industries including, real estate, technology/software, healthcare, entertainment, and consumer product goods.

Samir previously worked in the financial restructuring group for Houlihan Lokey and the investment banking group of HSBC. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelors in Economics and holds a masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.

Samir currently sits on the board of Lantern Entertainment and Bluejack National holding companies.
