Don is Senior Vice President with Hillwood, a privately held real estate company specializing in the acquisition and development of state of the art warehouse, distribution and logistics properties around the world. In his 31 years in the commercial real estate industry he has also been a partner at Trammell Crow Company, as well as a senior officer at Liberty Property Trust.
He graduated with a BA in political science from Valparaiso University and did graduate work in public administration at the University of Illinois/Springfield. Don is currently active in several national real estate organizations and has done significant volunteer work related to education and civic causes.
He currently resides in Lake Forest with his family, where he recently stepped down as the community’s longest serving Mayor.
