Stan Smith

Vice President, Development

As Vice President of Development for Related California, Mr. Smith is directly involved with coordinating all aspects of development and financing for Related’s affordable developments throughout the State of California, with an emphasis in the Inland Empire.

Before joining Related in 2000, Mr. Smith served as a Senior Project Manager with The Olson Company, a California homebuilder specializing in urban infill for-sale housing.  For 18 years, Mr. Smith was Senior Vice President of Development for SSG Construction where he directed all aspects of development and construction of single-family homes on infill sites throughout Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.

Mr. Smith holds a California General Contractors license and received a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University
