David Young is a Managing Director for JLL’s Capital Markets Group. Based in Seattle, Washington, David oversees a broad range of multifamily investment sales in the Pacific Northwest and runs JLL’s West Coast Multifamily Practice. He specializes in investment sales, debt placement, debt restructuring, equity placement and joint ventures.
David has over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, with career sales exclusively in this sector that exceed $6 billion and 55,000 apartments. He has represented the nation’s largest and most active multifamily investors and is the recipient of JLL’s Top Gun award for top sales internationally. David has also received the CoStar Power Broker award for 15 consecutive years.
Prior to joining JLL in July of 2009, David was a Vice President at CB Richard Ellis in Bellevue for 10 years and a Partner at Hendricks & Partners for 10 years. During his tenure with these companies, he received the national Top 5 award multiple times and consistently ranked as one of the top advisors in the Puget Sound.
