Sean O’Shea, Managing Director of the BRC Advisors/The O’Shea Net Lease Advisory, brings over 39 years of rigorous experience in a full range real estate activity to our senior management staff. Prior to joining BRC Advisors, Mr. O’Shea was an Executive Vice President at a Santa Monica-based Net Lease Advisory. He has served in the capacity of an Officer and Shareholder of a regional commercial brokerage firm in major markets on the East Coast to serving as a Senior Asset Manager for a $2++ Billion private REIT in Santa Fe, NM with a personal portfolio responsibility of over $130 million of office, industrial, and mixed-use assets.

He has completed in excess of a Billion Dollars of transactions throughout the country in different asset classes. He brings a track record of superb client/investor relationships and ‘hands-on’ management experience with nationally recognized real estate management companies throughout the country.

Mr. O’Shea is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; and has completed a number of Advanced Investment and 1031 Exchange workshops and ongoing course work to stay abreast of current developments in a range of real estate investment-related subjects.

He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders’ Association of Philadelphia, NAHB; and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

He is a member of the Real Estate Section of the California Bar Association. He maintains real estate licenses in California, New Mexico and Colorado. He has served on the Advisory Conference Board of The Net Lease Forum and Net Lease Summit. He has been interviewed by a number of nationally recognized publications including Globe St. regarding market intelligence in the Net Lease sector. He has served as a Panelist and Moderator for Interface Net Lease, Real Share Net Lease and ICSC ReCon Net Lease Panels in recent years. He attends the Jeremiah Long Advanced 1031 Annual National 1031 Conference, each year, which affords cutting edge marketing intelligence and tax intensives by industry experts. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Shopping Center Business and Real Estate Forum and Globe St. as well.
