After years of unprecedented growth and soaring land prices, New York City is at a crossroads. Is the market headed towards a downturn? Or is the climate ripe for acquisitions and consolidation? Yet amid this uncertainty, submarkets in Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Staten Island are becoming new hot spots. Mega-projects on the Far West Side have caused an undeniable shift in the market, and in response, Midtown East has been rezoned, leading to new development activity.
